Are you a SAHM of young children? Feel like you are stuck in the house all day and you need to connect with others? There are many ways to find others out there in your area that are in the similar situation as yourself. There are major organizations like MOPS and MOMS Club. I have been involved with both groups. They are different in orientation and style but they both embody the main point which is to help you during a sometimes difficult, scary and major part of your lives. Do searches in Yahoo and MSN groups. Key in words like mom, moms, moms group and also use the name of the area you are located in. You should be able to find a group in your area. Groups have meetings and playdates and more. You don't have to be in the house all day with the kids. Get and meet some moms! I have provided links to MOPS and MOMS Club on this page. Both can help you find groups in your area. Also, don't be afraid to start your own group on MSN or Yahoo.
